Sticky barbecue pulled chicken with rice and sweetcorn
What you will need:
- Chicken breasts
- Sticky barbecue sauce
Cooking time 4 hours
How to make:
Put the chicken breasts in with about 80-100ml of water and pour over some sticky barbecue sauce.
Cook on high for about an hour and on low for another 3 hours.
I just used microwavable rice as it was quicker (2 min in microwave) so I cooked the rice and sweetcorn at the last few minutes before dishing it up.
Once the chicken has been cooking for 4 hours get a fork and knife and pull the chicken apart till it’s all in pieces and more barbecue sauce and mix in.
You can reheat the chicken again if you wanted to warm it up a bit more or leave it as it is and dish it up.
