The one item you will always find me wearing is the MUA prime and conceal correcting powder, priced at £4 this is a must buy for all busy mums. I have become a huge fan of the MUA range since stumbling across it in Superdrug.
At first glance, I was a little sceptical as many of the items in this range start as little as £1, yes £1.
Items for £1 include:
- eyebrow pens
- nail varnish
(I will be buying these £1 bargains and testing and reviewing them all for you, so be sure to keep an eye on the blog)
MUA Prime & Conceal Correcting Powder
I have very strange skin, it is a mixture of different shades, I have a lot of yellow patches.
I have a huge triangle slapped right bang in the middle of my forehead that really stands out when the sun comes out.
This correcting powder has become a godsend.
With 6 children my mornings are never stress-free, the school run is something out of a soap drama and I am lucky if I get to finish a cup of tea before half dragging children out of the door, normally after spending 10 minutes looking for a lost shoe.
Us busy mums do not have time to bother about how we look first thing on a morning, but I know I feel so much more confident when I wear a little pick me up on my face.
That’s where this correcting powder comes in, better still it acts as a primer and sealer too.
I do notice an incredible difference just applying some moisturiser and then quickly brushing this across my face. I mix the colours and just blend it all over and go.
My eyes look less tired, the skin looks awake and radiant and best of all my skin is all one colour, all for £4.
I also use this correcting powder to set my foundation, so if I am wearing a full face of makeup I will apply this before and after my foundation. It keeps your foundation in place all day.
The 4 colours all do a different job:
- Lilac – Illuminates and mutes yellow undertones
- Green – neutralises and reduces redness
- Yellow – brightens and conceals purple tones
- Peach – adds radiance.
I would hugely recommend you treat yourself to this ladies and be sure to come back and let me know what you think of it.
